We Come Closer
For 2011 we launched a new expression and a new strategy for Skyways. The relatively small regional carrier connects business commuters to destinations that the larger competitors can´t afford. Skyways is undoutably the airline closest to their passengers, geographically as well as personally. Dallas sthlm has helped to communicate the ”We Come Closer” concept with a complete website makeover, a nationwide press campaign and a new television spot.
Filming the Fokker 50 at the usually so crowded Stureplan, downtown Stockholm, presented us with some logistic challenges. In order to have the cleanest setting possible we decided to shoot at 03:00 one thursday morning in august. What we had not taken in account was the fact that one of Stockholm´s most visited establishments were running their famous wednesday-club and did not close until 05:00 AM. We managed to complete the shoot despite unsteady drunksters and fast food craving seagulls and pigeons. We wrapped it up with the classic ”We´ll fix it in the post”.
