If all swedes drove their cars according to our new iPhone app, A Glass of Water, CO2 emissions would be reduced by over 2 million tonnes per year!
Together with our friends at Saatchi we have introduced a simple yet ingenious solution for Toyota which challenges drivers to conduct their vehicles smoothly and more economical.
A Glass of Water can be downloaded for free at Apple’s App Store. The app displays a water glass as seen from above and the idea is to encourage the driver to spill as little imaginary water as possible by handling the car with grace and anticipation. The app monitors how efficient the vehicle is driven and will also show how the driver handles specific routes, compare them with previous ones and show progress. Markers point out the specific spots where the water was spilled.
The information are automatically uploaded to the site nollutsläpp.se, where all users can share their results and and view the progress of others.
