The somewhat unholy marriage between CANAL+ and SF proves to be fertile! Swedish film channel SF Kanalen was launched on October 1 and will be the first broadcaster ever to air the enormous amount of Swedish storytelling produced in our country – Dallas sthlm designed and produced the identity.
Goodnes gracious – FIlms and series covering a period of more than 50 years! Of course, not everything in the library meets up to modern standards but, for any righteous swede, SF kanalen will be welcomed with embracing arms. Canal+ is a long time client to Dallas sthlm and designing SF kanalen was a treat as the execution origins from the same graphic platform as we have already produced for the rest of the network.
The challenging part was to incorporate the very strong theatrical SF heritage with the CANAL+ look and feel. We believe we that we found the right emotional buttons as it truly communicates the values of both parents!
